Coach Registration

High Desert Baseball League is committed to providing a structured and competitive youth baseball experience in Durango. Our coaches play a critical role in player development, mentorship, and maintaining a positive team environment. Coach registration ensures proper communication, organization, and alignment with league standards for the upcoming season.

Where

Coaches will work with players and families throughout Durango and the surrounding Four Corners region. Practices and games are held at local fields based on division and availability. Specific field assignments and season details will be communicated prior to the start of the season

Games

Coaches are responsible for leading their teams during scheduled weekend games and coordinating with opposing teams as needed. Game schedules are established before the season begins, with occasional adjustments based on weather or field conditions.

Practices

Practice schedules are determined prior to the season and structured to support player development and team preparation. Coaches are expected to provide organized practices that focus on fundamentals, repetition, and competitive growth.

Jerseys

Players receive official High Desert Baseball League jerseys and hats as part of their registration. Coaches are responsible for maintaining team equipment, ensuring uniforms are distributed properly, and promoting professionalism during games and practices.

Background Check Requirement

To ensure a safe and positive environment for all players, all coaches are required to complete a background check prior to participating in league activities. This process helps maintain the integrity of the program and reinforces our commitment to player safety and community trust.

Additional information regarding the background check process will be provided during registration.
